Amelia Island Golden Hour — Original Watercolor
Amelia Island Golden Hour — Original Watercolor
A live oak spreading its mossy arms over a sand path, late light filtering gold through the leaves. Painted from my journal on Amelia Island — one of those still Florida evenings that feels like a held breath.
You know this light. Late afternoon, coming sideways through something, turning everything gold for about four minutes. You saw it. You kept walking, because there was dinner and the mail and a hundred other things.
This is that light, held still. It doesn't ask anything of you. It just stays lit on the wall, so that the noticing isn't one more thing you have to find time for.
An original watercolor and ink on Fabriano paper, 9 × 9 inches. One of a kind. Signed. When she's gone, she's gone.
