Donna's Pansies — Giclée Print

Pansies in plum and violet, butter yellow, and the softest cream — gathered loosely, the way a handful carried in from the garden actually looks. The original was painted in watercolor and colored pencil and named in honor of my mother, Donna; this print lets her flowers live in more than one home.

Most people have a version of these flowers somewhere. Someone's garden, someone's hands, a handful carried in and set on the counter without ceremony. Nobody thinks to photograph that part. It's the part you'd give anything to see once more.

Hang it where you'll pass it often. Some mornings you won't notice it at all. Other mornings it will stop you — and that's the whole reason it's there.

Each print is an archival giclee print, indistinguishable from the original.
