Meet my problem child! She was a hydrangea who just wouldn’t settle into herself. In the process a non-waterproof ink was used. Mistakes were made. Decisions had to pivot. In the end. I think I love her more for being a bit wonky. We have had a journey together. We have a story.
I am getting ready to frame her and hang her in the place where I most often realize my failings, my callings and my joy.
But it occurred to me that someone else might be feeling like you have messed up too much to recover. The ink has smeared and there is no going back. That’s a lie. And the golden tips of the petals and leaves remind us that we are who we are precisely because of the mistakes. We are beautiful, unique, and kind of crazy.
So if you would like my wonky hydrangeas to live in your space, the original is available for sale. But act quick because I am ordering a sweet floating gold frame for her soon.
