Summer Riot — Sold

There is a particular hour in summer when the garden stops being polite.

Everything blooms at once — ranunculus and rudbeckia, lavender spikes and wild cosmos, poppies that refuse to stay in their lane. A ladybug finds her way to the tallest orange bloom. Gold catches in the centers of things.

This is that hour. Painted from memory and joy and the stubborn belief that abundance is not too much to ask for.
